Move, archive or delete topics in bulk

When a channel has grown noisy, you can tidy it in one go: select several topics and move, archive or delete them at once.

Steps

1. Open the channel and select Select (in the toolbar, beside Export CSV). The topics show a checkbox.
2. Tick the topics you want — or select Select all to take the whole page.
3. The bulk bar shows {count} selected and the available actions:
   • Move to channel — choose a target channel from the picker.
   • Archive — hides the topics from the channel list.
   • Delete — moves the topics to the channel’s Trash.
4. On the Archived or Trashed tab, the same bar offers Restore.
5. Select Clear to reset the selection, or Close to leave selection mode.

Result

The chosen action is applied to every selected topic in one step. Topics you are not allowed to change are skipped, and the count of skipped topics is reported.

Good to know

• Archived and deleted topics are not lost: find them on the Archived and Trashed tabs of the channel, and restore them if needed. A channel’s trash is emptied automatically after its retention period.
• Actions ask you to confirm when they affect several topics — for example Archive 4 topics? or Move 4 topics to trash?.
